KidSenses Children's InterACTIVE Museum Announces Grand Opening of the Discover Garden
At KidSenses Children's InterACTIVE Museum, exhibits and workshops offer hands-on learning and stimulating adventures to arouse curiosity and inspire wonder. With garden areas and features connected with serpentine pathways leading to hills, a mountain, raised flower and vegetable beds, an obstacle course with log climber and a tunnel. The new Discovery Garden
remains true to the interactive and educational mission of the Museum.
Other featured areas include "Bee Amazed", "Butterfly Garden", "The Magical Tree House" and a special presentation area where visitors can observe a variety of educational programs and demonstrations. The Discovery Garden’s environment reflects the diversity of the foothills region and offers an opportunity to discover the miracles of nature.
The Discovery Garden will open with guided tours Wednesday - Friday 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Guided tours and Garden workshops are included in the cost of Museum’s general admission.
KidSenses is located at 172 North Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC. They are open Monday - Thursday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. See their featured link, below.
